The most challenging part of this class was writing essays. I am not good at writing, which is why I chose to take this class. It has been a big challenge for me. As a second--language student, I do not have numerous of vocabulary as native speakers, and I do not know the rules for writing essays. Write a perfect essay is really difficult. To be honest, there were many times I wanted to give up. However, Ms.Lee, our professor, always encourage us. She often reminded us not to worry if our first paper was not perfect, because we are still learning and practicing. I told myself, " just keep going-- don't give up. It will get better as I practice." I have carefully read all of the teacher's feedback and try to figure out how to improve. I also joined the tutoring sessions to get extra help, ask questions, and review my work. final draft After reading Professor Lee's feedback, I realized that I made many mistakes in paper 3. Therefore, I reviewed the assignment requirements and revised my paper by connecting Professor Lee's feedback with the expectations for paper. Through this writing process, I finally understood the format of "work cited" and "in text citation." I also reviewed the structure and argumentative methods of academic writing.
